1. Legal Entity

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by:

Laura Marcela Carrillo Acosta, ABN 90 405 756 968, trading as Homelift (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By booking or accepting a quote, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

Homelift provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. 

All services are provided based on information supplied by the client at the time of booking.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are estimates based on the information provided.

  • Final pricing may vary if property condition differs materially from description.

  • Additional charges may apply for excessive dirt, biohazards, heavy staining, or undisclosed conditions.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe.

4. Access & Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property.

  • Ensure electricity and running water are available.

  • Secure pets.

  • Remove fragile, high-value, or sentimental items prior to service.

  • Disclose any damage, delicate surfaces, or special materials.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations with less than [24/48] hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.

  • If we cannot access the property at the scheduled time, a call-out fee may apply.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to illness, emergencies, or unsafe conditions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  1. Our total liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to:

    • The cost of re-performing the service; or

    • The amount paid by the client for that specific service.
       

  2. We are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Deterioration of materials

    • Stains that cannot be removed through reasonable cleaning methods

    • Damage caused by faulty or aged fixtures

    • Loss of opportunity, profit, or indirect damages
       

  3. Any claim for damage must be:

    • Reported within 24 hours of service completion

    • Supported with photographic evidence
       

  4. We will not be liable for damage to items:

    • Not disclosed as fragile

    • Improperly installed

    • Already compromised or poorly maintained
       

  5. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

    Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

7. Insurance

Homelift maintains business insurance, including public liability insurance.

Insurance claims are assessed in accordance with policy terms and insurer approval.

Insurance coverage does not extend to:

  • Undisclosed fragile items

  • Cash, jewellery, or high-value collectibles

  • Consequential losses

8. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due on completion of service unless otherwise agreed.

  • We may require a deposit for certain services.

  • Late payments may incur administrative fees.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Illness

  • Equipment failure

  • Government restrictions

10. Photos & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos for quality assurance. We will not publish identifiable images without client consent.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, images, branding) is the property of Homelift and may not be copied without permission.

12. Website Use

By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
